Hinduism
Hinduism shaped the modern day India in countless ways. It was India’s first major religion and still is their major religion today. The practiced things like Dharma. Dharma was law's, obligation, and duty. If you perform your Dharma you should life as long as possible. Hinduism also ties in with the caste system. Hinduism also used to practice the social classes Brahmans, Kshatriya's, Vaishyas, and the Shudras. Karma played a very consequential role too. Karma was basically like good luck and bad luck. If you did all your Dharma you would have good Karma, but if you didn’t you would have bad Karma. If you have good Karma you would have good things happen to you. If you had bad Karma bad things would happen. Hinduism practiced Samsara which is, the repeating cycle of life. If you have good karma then after you die you would be reproduced as a different animal. But if not you would stay dead. Hinduism believed I'm may different gods which made them polytheistic. Hinduism like Buddhism spread outside India to other Asain countries. Hinduism is still the most practiced religion in India and still thrives today.
